Palemia Field

Palemia Field manages the large ferry and RoPax segment at ABB Marine & Ports. Formerly part of the global Marketing & Communications team, he established the Marine Digital Services unit in Finland and led the Marine Academy team, where he also trained customers in operating and maintaining Azipod® propulsion units. Palemia is a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and serves on its Technical Leadership Committee. With experience as an engineer on large cruise ships and as a marine engineer officer with the Royal New Zealand Navy, Palemia brings an operational perspective as the industry moves toward increased electrification, digitalisation, and connectivity.
