Before, he worked as Transport lead - Energy technology policy at International Energy Agency (IEA). Cazzola also worked as Secretary of the Working Party on Pollution and Energy at United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Researcher - Transport, sustainability and innovation at European Commission, Joint Research Centre, Economist - Material flow analysis at OECD. He completed his masters from IFP School and bachelors from University of Glasgow.
