Grant Gassner

Grant Gassner

Grant Gassner is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Calgary and has been at Wärtsilä approximately 20 years. He has spent most of his time at Wärtsilä within various positions related to four-stroke & two-stroke engines R&D, Product Management and Manufacturing. He has spent most of his career working in Vaasa, Finland, but also has experiences working abroad in Wärtsilä, including in Switzerland, China and most recently in Canada. Grant has been pioneering Wärtsilä’s Integrated Systems Solutions team in Wärtsilä’s Marine business since 2020, working closely with industry stakeholders to develop and industrialise competitive and future-proof propulsion concepts.
