VIKING Life-Saving Equipment has secured a notable contract with the Norwegian Customs Service, known as Tolletaten, to supply a new fleet of advanced patrol and fast response boats.
This agreement enhances Tolletaten’s operational capabilities in maritime enforcement and inspection within Norwegian waters.
Details of the agreement
The agreed contract includes the delivery of four VIKING Norsafe boats, comprising one Marathon S-900 powered by twin 350 HP Mercury engines and three Munin S-1400 patrol boats equipped with triple 500 HP Mercury engines.
These vessels are specifically designed for professional operating conditions and are scheduled for delivery in 2026 and 2027, with the possibility of additional orders. The contract is valued at approximately NOK 43 million.
