The volume of nominations for this year’s TMS Awards, which will take place on October 29th at the Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, has been the highest ever. Moreover, there has been a clamour of requests for more time to get entries in.
As a result, TMS has decided to extend the deadline by two weeks, from August 1st to August 15th. TMS Awards Chairman of Judges, Clive Woodbridge, says, “While we are conscious of the time pressures facing the judges, we want to make sure that as many companies as possible who want to can nominate for the various categories. We are pleased to be able to grant this slight extension, but there can be no leeway beyond this. This new deadline is final.”
Nominations process
Details of how to nominate, and the categories that are open this year can be found on the new-look website. All they do is log in, open the Awards categories section, go to the category they want to nominate for, click on the nominate button and then be guided through the nominations process.
The finalists are due to be announced on the 15th of September, after all the nominations have been evaluated by a panel of independent judges.
