Strategic Marine, a renowned aluminium boat builder, has successfully delivered two low-emission catamaran ferries to the Government of Bermuda. These 40-metre vessels, capable of carrying 550 passengers each, were handed over ahead of schedule and within budget.
The delivery marks the conclusion of a rigorous two-year journey, which began with a competitive global tendering process, ultimately resulting in Strategic Marine being awarded the shipbuilding contract.

Designed to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency, the new ferries will soon be navigating the scenic waters of Bermuda. Their introduction is expected to bolster the island’s public transport and cruise tourism network, offering safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly ferry services.
The vessels, designed by Sydney-based One2Three Naval Architects, have been meticulously crafted to meet Bermuda's present and future maritime needs, promising reduced CO2 emissions and lower operational expenses.

The project’s successful completion not only marks a key achievement for Strategic Marine but also reinforces its standing as an innovative builder of rapid transport vessels.
