RCL has partnered with Lloyd's Register OneOcean (LR OneOcean) to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of its fleet operations.
Advanced optimisation technology
Under the agreement, RCL has subscribed to LR OneOcean’s voyage optimisation platform, which provides real-time voyage planning, dynamic weather routing, and intelligent speed management.
By integrating this advanced route optimisation technology, RCL aims to significantly reduce fuel consumption, cut carbon emissions, and improve cargo delivery reliability —all while ensuring compliance with tightening environmental regulations.

The solution will also enable Thailand-based RCL to manage voyage budgets more effectively, ensuring cost control and optimised fleet scheduling across its 38-vessel operation.
