Raymarine has officially launched the Pathfinder ECDIS, a sophisticated Electronic Chart Display and Information System that adheres to International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards.
This advanced navigation system is suited for primary or backup use across a range of vessels, from workboats to large cargo ships and superyachts.
Combining expertise in marine navigation
Pathfinder ECDIS represents a collaborative effort between Raymarine, known for its innovative marine hardware, and Chartworld, which brings over 25 years of expertise in ECDIS and commercial navigation.
This system is tailored for commercial vessels exceeding 3,000 gross tons and international passenger vessels over 500 gross tons, emphasising efficient system familiarity and straightforward chart installation to minimise crew training requirements.
Seamless integration for enhanced navigation
The user-friendly Pathfinder ECDIS provides smooth integration with Chartworld ENC and data services, ensuring efficient navigation regardless of the voyage.
The system is certified by DNV, a notable entity in standards testing and certification, confirmation that it meets IMO requirements, specifically IEC 61174 and IEC 62288, and is constructed using robust Raymarine hardware designed for longevity and minimal upkeep.
