Ocean Infinity has marked a pivotal achievement with the delivery of the final vessel in its fourteen-ship Armada fleet, concluding a journey initiated in 2020 with the aim to revolutionise offshore operations. Over the last five years, the company has developed and deployed a fleet of advanced lean crewed vessels, setting new standards in the industry.
This recent addition completes the 86-metre class of Armada vessels, following the successful introduction of the 78-metre class earlier in 2023. As of now, twelve vessels are actively in operation, with the remainder soon to follow, advancing the integration of robotics and maritime technology.

Supporting complex offshore projects across regions including the United States, Europe, and the Asia Pacific, these systems facilitate tasks from geophysical surveys to geotechnical explorations, delivering comprehensive data and fostering innovation in subsea operations.

Oliver Plunkett, Chief Executive Officer, expressed the significance of completing the 86-metre vessel class, stating, "Completing the Armada 86-metre class marks an extraordinary moment – five years ago we said we’d build a fleet of fourteen ships, designed unconventionally because speed to capability mattered – and we’ve done it, despite the many challenges along the way. What started out as a bold ambition is now a reality."
He adds, "Plunkett emphasised that these vessels are beyond mere conceptual or research projects, highlighting their operational status and transformative impact on offshore work by prioritising software and technology.
