Kongsberg Maritime has secured a significant agreement with Sea1 Offshore to supply Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS) for four new offshore construction vessels.
This contract will see each vessel equipped with two cutting-edge LARS units, designed to enhance subsea construction and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations.
Comprehensive equipment supply
The equipment package for each vessel includes two telescopic A-frames, fully electrical umbilical winches, energy-efficient hydraulic power units, and a precise control system.
Each LARS unit is engineered to support a working load of up to 15 tonnes (dry weight) and features a winch cable accommodating up to 4,500 metres, ensuring powerful performance for deep-water tasks.
