Intellian Technologies Inc. and OneWeb have announced a new contract to supply Intellian's OW11FL user terminals, with mass production commencing in the final quarter of 2023.
As a provider of multi-constellation satellite user terminals, Intellian continues to enhance its collaboration with OneWeb, a company renowned for its low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications. The OW11FL, an Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) flat panel user terminal, is designed to seamlessly integrate with OneWeb's LEO network, enabling smooth beam and satellite handovers.

Since the inception of their partnership in 2019, Intellian has launched six products within the OW Series. More product launches are anticipated to further support OneWeb's land and maritime mobility applications. With the emphasis on plug-and-play connectivity, Intellian's terminals are engineered for network efficiency and ease of installation, serving a wide array of customers globally.
Fixed Connectivity Applications
The introduction of the OW11FL marks Intellian’s entry into flat panel electronically steered antenna technology, supporting fixed connectivity applications.
With an eye on expanding into flat panel products, the aim is to enhance mobility capabilities across enterprise, maritime, land mobility, government, and defence sectors. Each component of Intellian’s vertically integrated solutions is designed at the Advanced Development Center in the USA, while manufacturing is performed at their Korean campus.

With six products across Intellian’s OW Series to date, the partnership between Intellian and OneWeb has grown significantly since the first contract in 2019 with additional product launches expected over the coming months in order to support OneWeb’s land and maritime mobility applications.
