This testing took place at Isotropic's Lake Geneva site, leveraging the Amazonas-2 and Galaxy-28 networks and employing ST Engineering iDirect's X7 modem.
The NX-Series antennas are also compatible with the iQ LTE modem, catering to a variety of enterprise voice and data services. The series is designed for enhanced connectivity on all types of vessels, combining high-speed data with superior performance, thanks to its efficient RF design.

There are data and reference signals facilitating communication between the antenna and the antenna control unit. Intellian's innovative design also allows for dual antenna operation without a mediator and advanced remote management via the AptusNX intelligence management platform. It provides higher bandwidth through optional high power BUC configurations.
Looking Ahead with Future-Proof Capabilities
The adaptable design allows for seamless conversion from Ku- to Ka-band by swapping the center-mounted RF assembly using a conversion kit, ensuring readiness for NGSO applications as needed.

The antennas feature an optimised reflector and radome, frequency tuned for both Ku- and Ka-bands, and a single coaxial cable which combines Tx, Rx, and DC power, to simplify installation. The system also features data and reference signals between the antenna and the antenna control unit (ACU).
Intellian’s innovation means that dual antenna operation is achieved without the use of a mediator and enhanced remote management and trouble-shooting capabilities are available via the AptusNX intelligence management platform. Higher bandwidth packages may also be accessed through high power BUC options.
