IMTRA, an established entity in the manufacture and import of products for the marine, energy, and transportation sectors, has bolstered its commercial sales team with the appointment of two new members.
Steve Baxter, a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, and Alden Tangen, a seasoned professional in the marine industry, have joined the team, reinforcing IMTRA's presence in the Gulf Coast region.

Steve Baxter has taken on the role of Gulf Coast Commercial Sales Manager at IMTRA
Bringing 27 years of service from the United States Coast Guard, Steve Baxter has taken on the role of Gulf Coast Commercial Sales Manager at IMTRA.
His extensive career in the USCG saw him in various pivotal roles such as Engineer Petty Officer, Ready for Operations Chief, Lead Mechanical Inspector, and most recently, Command Master Chief.
His postings covered Bahrain and New Orleans, Louisiana. Baxter's early career as a Machinery Technician forged strong ties with the maritime industry, primarily through work on military vessels at shipyards from Morgan City, Louisiana to Panama City, Florida. His contributions to USCG Acquisitions also fortified connections with prominent Gulf Coast shipbuilders.

Alden Tangen’s background
Tangen's passion for marine activities started young, spending his early years surfing and sailing
Joining as Product Manager — Wiper Systems, Tangen will provide technical and sales support to IMTRA's commercial team.
He brings over 15 years of marine industry project management experience, most notably founding Bluewater Solutions, which specialises in marine service, construction, restoration, rigging, and general consulting.
Tangen's passion for marine activities started young, spending his early years surfing and sailing in southeastern Massachusetts. His maritime journey includes over 11,000 offshore miles and an Atlantic crossing.
