Helm Operations has announced a significant change in its leadership, appointing James Wadsworth as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Wadsworth, who has substantial experience in the maritime sector, takes over the position from Nolan Barclay, Helm's inaugural employee and recent CEO. Though stepping down from his executive role, Barclay will remain actively involved with the company as Chairman.
Extensive Maritime Experience
James Wadsworth's career spans more than 20 years in the maritime industry, bringing extensive expertise and forward-thinking leadership to Helm Operations.
Prior to joining Helm, he spent nearly a decade at ClassNK in Japan, where he was crucial in broadening the organisation's global presence and solidifying its status as the largest classification society worldwide.

Helm has significantly widened its operational reach both in North America and internationally, supporting over 400 clients and helping to manage nearly 12,000 vessels with enhanced safety, efficiency, and profitability.
