Helm Operations has secured the official approval of nine electronic record books within its Helm CONNECT Logbook for adhering to MARPOL requirements, as affirmed by Lloyd’s Register and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
This dual certification indicates that Helm CONNECT’s digital record books meet regulatory standards set out in MARPOL, the NOx Technical Code 2008, and the Ballast Water Management Convention. These approvals offer maritime operators a certified alternative to traditional paper logbooks, aiding the industry’s shift towards digital documentation and more efficient compliance management.
