At EUROPORT 2025, Cummins Inc. will present an extensive collection of engines tailored for marine applications.
Visitors can explore these innovations at Stand 1305, where engines designed for seagoing and inland waterway applications, such as the X15 Stage V, B4.5 Genset Stage V, and QSK38 Stage V, will be on display.
A presentation detailing the GSK38 Stage V engine is scheduled to take place on stage on the 4th of November at 3 pm.
Showcasing advanced marine engines
The X15 Stage V engine highlights a blend of reliability and contemporary aftertreatment systems, delivering between 373 and 447 kW (500 - 600 hp). This engine is especially designed to meet the requirements of European inland waterway applications, including bow thrusters and main propulsion.

Also featured will be the B4.5 Genset Stage V engine, known for its 4.5-litre, four-cylinder configuration

It powers generator sets and various non-road machinery with outputs ranging from 76 to 112 kW (102 to 150 bhp) and a peak torque of 780 Nm (575 lb-ft).
The engine's EGR free architecture and compact Single Module aftertreatment system ensure compliance with stringent European non-road emissions regulations.
Powerful engines for inland waterways
The QSK38 Stage V emerges as a significant highlight, offering up to 1044 kW (1,400 hp) for inland waterways. Certified to European emission standards, it utilises a Modular Common Rail (MCR) fuel system to enhance performance, minimise emissions, and provide low-end torque. A small 3D print model will be available for closer inspection.
Durable marine engine model
Additionally, attendees can view a model of the robust QSK60 engine, noted for its endurance in demanding marine environments. It delivers output ratings between 1491 and 2013 kW (3000 hp).
These engines reflect Cummins' dedication to enhancing performance and reducing emissions across Europe’s waterways, providing attendees with firsthand insights into these advancements.
