Corvus Energy has secured a landmark order from Poland’s Remontowa Shipbuilding to supply battery systems for seven fully electric ferries commissioned by Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL), a public body owned by the Scottish Government.
This order represents the largest in Corvus Energy’s history in terms of USD value and plays a pivotal role in advancing clean ferry operations throughout the UK.

The vessel design results from an international cooperation: Germany-based naValue provided the concept design, Norway’s LMG Marin handled the basic design, and Poland’s Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting focused on the electrical and detailed design, with ABB overseeing system integration.

Including the seven CMAL newbuilds, the total number of joint projects is close to 20, demonstrating the continuity and cooperation between the two companies in developing zero- and low-emission vessel solutions.
