Concordia Damen has announced the delivery of a new CDS Tanker 135, named MTS Gambler. The vessel recently completed its trials and was outfitted at Concordia Damen's Werkendam shipyard by CCM3 and several other longstanding suppliers and partners.
MTS Gambler, designed for mineral oil transport, measures 135 metres in length and 11.45 metres in width, with a cargo capacity of 4,180 m³. Its design ensures minimal resistance and features an efficient speed-power curve, powered by two CAT C32 engines (2 x 709 kW) that help maintain low fuel consumption.

Captain-owner, Karel Jan van de Pol of Gambler Shipping BV expressed satisfaction with the new vessel, which marks a significant step for his business.
"I am very happy with our new ship. For us, this is a new chapter in our business. We trade across the European inland waterway, and we’ll deploy the Gambler as of next week for its first transport," he stated.
Van de Pol chose Concordia Damen for its attentive approach and the practical, proven track record of its vessels. The collaboration with the yard and CCM3 was described as smooth and efficient, providing a short lead time due to Concordia's practice of building ships on stock.

MTS Gambler is 135 metres long and 11.45 metres wide and is designed for the transport of mineral oils. It boasts an impressive cargo capacity of 4,180 m³. Due to its proven and optimised design, the vessel sails with minimal resistance and features a favourable speed-power curve. Propulsion is provided by two reliable CAT C32 engines (2 x 709 kW), ensuring low fuel consumption.
