The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine their strengths, focusing on next-generation battery solutions for the maritime sector. This partnership integrates BYD's expertise in lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with Corvus Energy's extensive experience in marine energy storage systems (ESS).

Under the terms of the MoU, both BYD Energy Storage and Corvus Energy will work in concert to coordinate global market activities. Corvus Energy will act as the ESS System Partner, employing its proven system integration skills and strong customer relationships globally to support this initiative.
