AVT Services Pty Limited, “AVT Services”, a company providing vacuum pump and system sales and service to customers in Australia, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.
AVT Services is a privately owned company headquartered in Sydney, Australia with additional sites in Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane. The company has 15 employees.
Market presence
“AVT Services has been successfully serving the vacuum market in Australia since it was founded in 1995 and has been the official distributor for the Edwards vacuum brand in the past,” said Geert Follens, Business Area President of Vacuum Technique.
“Through this acquisition we will be closer to our customers in key areas of Australia, allowing us to better serve them and further strengthen our market presence and service capabilities.” The purchase price is not disclosed. The company becomes part of the Vacuum Technique service division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area.
