Ahti Pool has announced a strategic collaboration with ScanOcean to introduce a dedicated FuelEU Maritime pooling service labelled as the “pool-in-pool” solution. This initiative is aimed at assisting ScanOcean’s clients by enabling shipowners to utilise their biofuel consumption to satisfy FuelEU compliance requirements while maintaining access to the extensive Ahti Pool for added flexibility.
Specifically designed for FuelEU Maritime compliance, Ahti Pool manages fleets from notable owners and operators, including Van Weelde Group, Bore, Spliethoff, Stenersen, and Neste, overseeing emissions exposure exceeding €100 million.

The partnership facilitates ScanOcean in marketing a comprehensive FuelEU Maritime pooling service to shipowners. This service merges Ahti’s extensive technical pooling expertise and cost-optimisation tools with ScanOcean’s established logistics network, agreements with leading refiners, and exceptional bunkering operations within the Nordic region.
